    As for the battery itself, it was great. It was a little on the expensive side, but everything that Apple seems to be a little more. Very good original, apart from the initial sticker shock added – no complaints.

    Sometimes people request to exchange batteries and forgotten in the defective battery / old to do. Then on the 10th (or before 30) days, charges Apple the full price of the credit card. Further, support of the original battery is not happiness. If the serial number is through an exchange will not give Apple an exchange for you.

    I have several of them and now all have performed very poorly, despite compliance with all recommendations on cycling. Out of the box, they lasted about 2. 5 hours and quickly cut about an hour. Unfortunately, the alternatives are not much better (I also tried the batteries in third).

    If they say "original" Apple laptop battery that literally. The battery I received had a serial number ending U7SB – one cell of origin of MacBook Pro manufactured between February 2006 and May 2006. These batteries were defective, and subject to recall an Apple product. Fortunately, with a little persuasion, I was able to convince the Apple store to replace the battery for an update. The Apple battery recall Web page does not validate the exchange unless you have a MacBook Pro with a serial number early.
